Hyaluronic fillers in Kovin
Volume no one notices, just a fresher face.
What are hyaluronic fillers
Hyaluronic acid is a substance your skin makes on its own, and it binds water. In a filler it takes the form of a soft gel that is injected exactly where the face loses fullness or definition over the years: the lips, cheekbones, chin and jawline.
The aim is not a new face, but your own face from a time when you looked more rested. A little restored fullness on the cheekbone lifts the whole middle of the face, and a clearer chin balances the profile. Lips can gain just a contour and a more hydrated look, with no enlargement that can be spotted from across the street.
At Nami Klinik we use Aliaxin, used by Dr Rada, and HarmonyCa and MINT Fill, used by Dr Ivan, and by arrangement also Juvéderm, Revanesse, Revolax and Saphyra. Each gel has a different density, so it is chosen for the area and for how much support the skin needs.
Who it is for
You notice that your face in the mirror looks more tired than you feel.
Your lips are thinner than a few years ago, and lipstick no longer holds its line.
Your cheekbones used to be more defined, and now your face seems flatter.
In profile photos you would like your chin and jawline to look clearer.
You want a small change that people sense but cannot name.
What the appointment looks like
Consultation
Your face is looked at as a whole, at rest and while you talk. Together you decide where a small amount gives the most, and how much is enough.
Preparation
The skin is cleansed and disinfected. An anaesthetic cream is applied to the lips if needed, and most fillers already contain a local anaesthetic.
Treatment
The gel is placed with a fine needle or a cannula, slowly and in small amounts, while symmetry is checked all the time. The appointment takes from half an hour to an hour.
Afterwards
Mild swelling and the occasional bruise are possible for the first few days. For the next day or two, avoid the gym, the sauna and strong pressure on the treated area.
When you see results and how long they last
The change shows straight away, but you see the real result once the swelling settles and the gel softens into place, usually after two weeks. That is why the final assessment and any small top up are done only then.
How long a filler lasts depends on the product, the area and your metabolism. On the lips it is most often six to twelve months, and on the cheekbones and chin often a year or more. Hyaluronic acid breaks down gradually, so your face returns to how it was without sudden changes.
Results depend on the condition of your skin.

Will people be able to tell I had filler?
If the amount is moderate and the gel well chosen, no. They will notice that you look fresher. At Nami Klinik we would rather take two smaller steps than one that is too big.
Can filler be removed?
Hyaluronic filler can be dissolved with the enzyme hyaluronidase if the result does not suit you or a correction is needed. HarmonyCa also contains calcium hydroxylapatite alongside hyaluronic acid, and the enzyme dissolves only the hyaluronic part, so this is discussed before the treatment.
How long is the recovery?
Most women go back to work the same day or the next. Swelling is most noticeable on the lips and usually settles within two to three days.
What is the difference between filler and Botox?
Filler adds fullness and support where the face has lost volume. Botox relaxes the muscles that etch in expression lines. They are often combined, but they address different things.
Can I wear makeup straight away?
Put makeup on the injection points only the next day, so the skin is not irritated. You can make up the rest of your face as usual.
