Hydrafacial in Kovin

A fresh complexion after a single appointment.

In short

What is Hydrafacial

Hydrafacial is a non invasive facial treatment that cleanses, gently exfoliates, draws impurities out of the pores and hydrates the skin in one appointment. It uses a device with a special tip that, with a swirling movement of liquid (Vortex technology), removes impurities and delivers serums at the same time.

The treatment includes lymphatic drainage, cleansing and exfoliation, extraction of impurities without squeezing, hydration with serums and LED light to calm the skin. There are no needles and no recovery, so after the appointment your skin is only slightly rosy and visibly refreshed.

That is why Hydrafacial is a good choice before an important event, as regular monthly skincare or as preparation for other treatments. Kristina performs it.

In the mirror

Who it is for

  • You notice your complexion looks grey and tired, even though you look after your skin.

  • The pores on your nose and chin show even after cleansing at home.

  • Your skin is dry in some areas of the face and oily in others.

  • You have an important event in a few days and want a fresh complexion without lasting redness.

  • You want a pleasant skincare treatment, with no needles and no recovery days.

Appointment

What the appointment looks like

  1. Consultation

Kristina looks at your skin and asks what you use at home, then chooses serums that suit your skin type.

  2. Preparation

Makeup is removed, and the skin is prepared with lymphatic drainage, which reduces puffiness and relaxes the face.

  3. Treatment

The device cleanses and exfoliates the skin in turn, draws impurities from the pores and delivers serums, finishing with LED light. The appointment takes about an hour.

  4. Afterwards

You can go straight back to your day. It is better not to wear heavy makeup that day, and in the following days use sun protection.

Results

When you see results and how long they last

Your skin is cleaner, softer and brighter straight after the treatment, and that fresh look usually lasts from a few days to a week.

For a longer lasting effect on pores and complexion, Hydrafacial is done regularly, most often once a month. It can also be combined with other facial treatments, according to the plan you agree with Kristina.

Results depend on the condition of your skin.

Questions

Questions we often get

Is Hydrafacial uncomfortable?

Most women find it a relaxing treatment. During extraction you feel a light suction, but there are no needles and no painful squeezing of pores.

Can I wear makeup after Hydrafacial?

You can, but it is better to let your skin breathe that day. If you are going to an event, you can put on light makeup a few hours after the treatment.

How often should I have Hydrafacial?

To keep your skin clean and hydrated, most often once a month. Before an important event, it is a good idea to book the treatment two to three days ahead.

When should Hydrafacial be avoided?

The treatment is postponed with sunburn, active inflammation or infection of the skin and during a period of strong redness. If you take acne medication such as isotretinoin, mention it at the consultation.

Can I combine Hydrafacial with Dermapen 4 or a peel?

Yes, but not on the same day without agreeing it first. Kristina plans the order of treatments so that your skin has enough time to settle in between.
